New
Items
(New
things we haven't had time to put in their proper places
but wanted you to be able to get)

Pickled Samphire
6.42 oz, $10.00
Crithmum
maritimum, is the sole species of the genus Crithmum.
It is a wild, edible, plant found in coastal regions of mainland
England. It needs chalky soil with a sea breeze to grow to its
best condition. As a result it is hard to get, and we are very
pleased to have found a source for this unusual item.

Seville Oranges
Available
in season; contact Deb for pricing and availability.
They
are a bitter orange, Citrus aurantium, used in 18c English
cooking; the peels are candied as a sweetmeat. They are probably
the ugliest oranges you'll see.
